Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
A GUIDE TO THE QUALIFICATION
The aim of this qualification is to prepare learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification, it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators.

In order to achieve the Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce learners must achieve all 23 mandatory units The units are structured around the four themes:

Placement:
It is recommended that learners complete 350 hours in placement.
Progression:
Learners can progress to the Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner or other higher level early years qualifications.
Job roles include:
- practitioner in day nurseries
- practitioner in Nursery schools
- practitioner in reception classes in primary schools
- pre-school worker.
Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (Apprenticeship)
A GUIDE TO THE QUALIFICATION
This qualification is designed for learners who are working, or would like to work in a business administration role within any sector or industry. It is ideal for those who are new to the role or who have been working at that level for a short period of time.
The qualification aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills they need to operate as a successful business administrator, in addition to that it confirms competence of those already fulfilling a business administration role.

Units:
This course allows learners to develop skills in a range of areas relevant to business administration roles such as communication, presentation skills and providing administrative support. In other to be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration, learners must achieve a minimum of 58 credits.
A minimum of 40 credits must be achieved at level 3 or above. |
Mandatory Units Group A:
- Principles of business (10 credits)
- Principles of business communication and information (4 credits)
- Communicate in a business environment (4 credits)
- Principles of administration (6 credits)
- Manage personal and professional development (3 credits

Level Diploma in Management Skills and Knowledge (Apprenticeship)
A GUIDE TO THE QUALIFICATION
This qualification is designed for learners who are working as a team leader/supervisor with operational/project responsibilities, or responsibility for managing a team. The purpose of the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Management Skills and Knowledge is to provide the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work as a team leader/supervisor.
